Documentation
How to get HootQuill set up and how to use it day to day. Most of it you can skip — start with your first quote and come back when you need the rest.
HootQuill sits between the handshake and the signature. You build a quote from your catalog, the contract assembles itself from your templates, the client signs it in their browser, and — if you use QuickBooks — the invoice and any recurring billing are created in your books from the agreement that was actually signed.
Getting started
From an empty account to a signed agreement, and how to bring the clients and catalog you already have with you.
Building agreements
How a quote turns into a contract that says the right things — the catalog that drives it, the wording it assembles from, and what you ask for when you send it.
After it is signed
What happens to an agreement once it is executed: seeing it coming before it renews itself, and stopping it cleanly when it ends.
Integrations
Connecting HootQuill to the services you already run on — your books, your sending domain, your signing provider.
Looking for what a document costs, what happens when you run out, or how billing works on your own account? That is on the questions page. If you cannot find an answer anywhere, ask us — a real person reads it.
