After it is signed

A signature is the middle of an agreement’s life, not the end of it.

The moment a contract is signed it is sealed, filed against the client, and starts counting toward its end date. Two things then matter, and both are things that cost real money when they are missed.

Agreements renew themselves. An auto-renewing contract with sixty days’ notice has to be decided on two months before it ends, and the date that binds you is the notice date rather than the end date. That is what the Renewals screen counts down to.

Agreements end. When one does, the billing has to stop with it — which means stopping it in your accounting system too, not just marking it done here.
